Our Culture Is Doomed

What is wrong with Hollywood, summed up in one phrase at Cinematical:

"... it's Back to the Future meets Stand by Me... but based on Hot Wheels, the toy."

That's how they say "auteur" McG describes his next producing project, a film based on, yes, the toy cars called Hot Wheels. Sigh. How much money is going to be spent on this "idea"?
