My - probably unnecessarily harsh - review of Evil Dead: The Musical is up at The Horror Blog today; you should head on over and check out what I had to say! Then stay there, look around, there's far more excitement to be had.But yeah, I was let down by the show. I'd been looking forward to it for a long while - since first hearing about it a couple months ago - but in the end I was coming at it from a horror fan's perspective, and not much of a fan of musicals, so that may've had a little something to do with my apparent allergic reaction top seeing demons strike a pose (though I did love that Buffy musical episode... oh, who knows).
But a huge thanks to Steven for giving me the chance see the show and, ultimately, proceed to to shred it betwixt my teeth.
