--- There are a couple of reviews of the first test screening of David Fincher's upcoming film Zodiac at AICN. If you'll recall, the film stars Robert Downey Jr. and some other dude. I skimmed the reviews, wanting to remain as spoiler-free as I can for the film, but they both seem very positive, saying the film's very un-Fincher-like, as in talky, but in a very good way. We shall see in January!

We shall see in January!--- The rumor has been thrown out of the airlock like a Cylon having just been introduced to Pres. Roslin (god I'm a geek) - NBC will not be stealing Battlestar Galactica away from SciFi, like I'd worried earlier this week via "reports", thank goodness. Says a SciFi spokesperson, succinctly:
"There is no truth to this rumor."
Cue breathing again.
--- Nick on an evening with the genius academic Adrienne Rich, whose very name conjurs the memory of many a night in the college library.
--- Justin Timberlake makes Timbaland question his sexuality. Yeah, he makes me feel gay sometimes, too.--- Roger Ebert makes contact once more, updating us all on his status in recovery, and doing his first review in ages for The Queen (which he gives four stars!). He says he probably won't be fully up and running until early next year, though he hopes to do a few more reviews in the next couple of months. Glad to hear from ya, Rog! Get well!
