Just a warning - posting's probably gonna be light today, I'm not feeling so hot this morning. But here's a couple of fun tidbits you can chew on all day!--- Time Magazine christens The Splat Pack. Cinematical takes them to task for it. I fall somewhere in the middle - sure, they are all relatively different filmmakers with different approachs that don't have anything to do with each other, but... it's a fun name! I wanna be a member.
--- Susan Cooper's Fantasy epic The Dark Is Rising is following LotR, Narnia, and His Dark Materials into the world of Fantasy serial-moviemaking. I spoke previously of Cooper's books here.
