Brokeback Gotham A No-Go

I had heard rumors awhile back about Jake Gyllenhaal being considered for Harvey "Two-Face" Dent in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight, but had promptly forgotten said rumors when they appeared to be nothing more than hot air.

Then the whole Heath Ledger getting cast as the Joker thing happened and, missing a prime opportunity for more Brokeback swooning in the process, I continued having forgotten those Gyllenhaal/Two-Face rumors.

Thankfully we've got Total Film around, and they remembered and threw 2+2 together and got this delightful snippet from Jake's rep:

"No, the other guy from Brokeback Mountain is in it if you haven't heard.”

Okay, so they don't cite any sources or name any names here, so this whole story could be bullshit. But I'm still terribly amused by the prospect of Jake's rep saying that.

And also amused by the thought of everyone's favorite bisexual shepards ganging up on and harrassing Patrick Bateman. Harrassing, prodding, getting too drunk and falling into bed with... oh, to what could have been...
