Oh Sufjan, My Sufjan

///
I was thiiiiiis close (that's darn close, people) to getting tickets for the Bookeaters Charity show that happened (last night, I think), which was hosted by Jon Stewart and boasted performances by (blah blah and blah) and Sufjan Stevens. I did not buy said tickets, and I have lived to regret it.

Stereogum's got a good lil' review of the show, and it sounds like it was phenomonal. Sigh. Especially because Suffy and David Byrne did a duet! You can download the track here, and Stereogum's got a video as well.

He is just too adorable.

What does that mean "this high" it's where his arms go? What does this post even mean?

homeslaughter is our local fashion critic; yes, it's the cut of Suffy's shirt that he's speaking of. Most shirt's armholes are cut looser than Suffy's shirt there is.

I honestly think Sufjan tailors his clothes himself like that; I know he sews all his stage uniforms himself.
