Oooh! New Zhang Yimou goodness!
The director's newest flick, Curse of the Golden Flower, has a trailer (a tiny, frustrating one, but it'll just have to do for now) online at it's website here.
Watch it! Behold the tiny, tiny beauty! The people responsible for the trailer are a little irritating in their attempts to clarify for the "stupid American" audience who the f- these people are by listing like 10 credits for each of them, as if this is what'll be heard muttered in theaters around the country - "Gong who? Oh right, that Geisha chick! Wait, not the young one? What Yun Fat? Huh?"
Then again, that is probably what'll be muttered, but I'm annoyed to be reminded of that. Irritating.
But visually it looks as spectacular as anything Yimou's done. Yay! December 22nd!
