My sincerest thanks go to everyone who turned me on to Battlestar Galactica - I'm almost done with watching the first season (three more episodes, I think) and this is just... wow. An amazing show. I'm salivating for Netflix to send me the next round of discs. I need to know what happens! I must get caught up with all of you intelligent people who'd been watching the show since before!!!
Ahem. Anyhoo, here's some 3rd season BSG news from TV Squad (of the non-spoilery kind - believe me, I am staying away from anything that could spoil anything!):
I shouldn't have any trouble making it through season 2 by the time the 3rd season is starting. Heck, I'll probably make it through season 2 by next week at the latest. If I were smart I'd stretch it out so I don't have to wait a couple of months, but me? Not smart. Also, insatiably impatient and terrified of anything being spoiled.
I do have a question for all you BSG watchers: what night and time is BSG usually on? I just realized last night I have no idea when it airs and became afraid it'll be on opposite Veronica Mars or Lost. Please tell me it doesn't!!!

"The Sci Fi Channel knows where its bread is buttered. Sure, people love both Stargate shows and the new show Eureka is getting good reviews. But the channel's most popular show is Battlestar Galactica. That's why Sci Fi is reportedly deciding to put all of its original shows on a six-month hiatus so it can run the entire third season of BSG without reruns. The goal, according to programming executive Mark Stern, is to have original programming throughout the year. So, according to this plan, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis will take a break in September and return in March, and BSG's season will run from October to March."
