The trailer's arrived for Unnecessary Remake #3017, The Wicker Man starring Nic Cage.

Sigh. The original is about as terrific as they come (Christopher Lee in his prime), but... maybe this'll be... tolerable? Is that asking too much?
It does have the super-duper-wonderful Ellen Burstyn, AND it's directed by Neil LaBute (In The Company of Men, Nurse Betty)... so that adds a level of intrigue that otherwise would be missing. But, watching the trailer without sound as I have to do here at work, has left me mostly unimpressed.
