Did anyone else watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee on ABC last night?
Oh my god, I was so into it. There's nothing more charming (ask my boyfriend, he'll tell ya) than a nearly 30-year old man four Jack-and-Gingers to the wind screaming obscenities at school children spelling obscure Hawaiian vocabulary on national TV. Classic.
Seriously, though, I was rooting for Kerrie Close from the very beginning, and she won! I was so happy! Ursprache, indeed!
Go Kerrie! You showed that Canadian how we does it in Amurika!
