Wow, it's just like I'm a real grown-up blog now!
I received this email this morning:
Goodness. So serious. Well, I'm nothing if not a coward, so I removed all the links I'd posted to places where you can download Thom's album. All the obvious places any fool could find it. Where it's presumably still floating out in the ether right now, if one were to try.
But I'd never encourage such a thing. Never. That's bad. Bad stuff.
Ahh, nothing like a good dose of passive-aggression first thing in the morning.

I received this email this morning:
"Further to our recent Notification regarding the above we note that you have failed to comply with our requests in relation to your (multiple) infringements of our client's intellectual property rights.
We have to advise you that our clients take this matter extremely seriously - as your continued trading of http://mynewplaidpants.blogspot.com/2006 /06/thom-hearts-artichokes.html is jeopardising the security and commercial success of the forthcoming release of the THOM YORKE album "THE ERASER" - and that, should you fail to remove these illegal torrent files and / or links to the same (as applicable), our clients shall take proceedings against you in the United States, the United Kingdom and your own domestic jurisdiction : for your information, any such proceedings would also include proceedings against the owners / directors of your company.
In the circumstances, we must insist that you comply with the instructions as stipulated in our aforementioned Notification and, in this regard, we shall look forward to hearing from you by return that you have so complied.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, all accumulated rights of Beggars Group Digital Limited and Thom Yorke remain strictly reserved."
But I'd never encourage such a thing. Never. That's bad. Bad stuff.
