Jesus. RIP half the women on television. Well, at least of the shows I watch. I don't think any of the girls on Americas Next Top Model got killed in any disastrous hair-weave accidents.
I knew that Michelle Rodriguez's days were numbered on Lost, and was glad since she's an irritating shrew, but they really shocked me when Michael (Michael!) turned the gun on poor lil' Libby, too. But, but... we're supposed to find out what the deal was with her in the asylum with Hurley! Poor Hurley! Sigh. The boyfriend's convinced that Libby wasn't killed, that those "lead blankets" she was carrying protected her... yes, he lives in the Land of Delusion. But I do think she could've been an Other, and might be alive anyway. But... not due to any lead blankets. Nutjob.
Glad to see Sloane return to the Dark Side on Alias, too. It's where he belongs... but poor Nadia. She wakes up from her coma and is dead within a couple of days. That's what you get, associating with that scoundrel. And poor Renee... now I'm just counting down the minutes until we see a Good Syd vs. Evil Syd ass-kicking.
ETA I didn't want to mention the DUI arrests of Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros as being "behind" what happened to them on the show last night, because I didn't think it had anything to do with the story - and I was right!
From a new interview with Lost showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse about last night's events in TV Guide:
There are also heavy implications in the interview that Libby is not dead, though no one actually comes out and says that. We have to wait until next week...

From a new interview with Lost showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse about last night's events in TV Guide:
"The fact that [Michelle Rodriguez] got a DUI would come and go and what would live on would be the show, and our plan was still the best plan for the character. Ironically, we actually thought about changing it the other way around once [the DUI] happened, but it really was the best story. We wanted to tell the best story....
And obviously that decision was further mitigated by the fact that Libby is shot at the same time as Ana Lucia. Basically then we said, "Oh, s--t. Both Michelle and Cynthia were busted the same night for DUI and we've got this story point coming up where they essentially both get shot at the same time, so it's going to look like this is the Lost producers attempt to say, 'Don't drive drunk!'" But as Carlton says, all it created in us was [the thought that], "Maybe we shouldn't do the plan now, 'cause people are going to think this is a reaction to [the DUIs], as opposed to this [plan] existing prior to that event.""
