Okay, I just found your blog and I love your movie character "Today's Mood" posts. When I saw "It," that damn clown scared the shit out of me. I wish I could say I was, like, 5-years-old when I saw it, but I just looked "It" up, and apparently I was 13-years-old. But that damn clown still gave me the heeby-jeebies.

If I was a movie character today, I would be Tobey Maguire's character from The Ice Storm. (I was going to say Tobey Maguire's character from Wonder Boys, but then I was afraid that would sound like I was calling myself a "wonder boy" and that might be pretentious.)

There's nothing pretentious about feeling like Tobey in Wonder Boys - I feel like that character ALL the time. GREAT film, one of my faves... as is The Ice Storm. Man, you mentioning those two films is making me want to watch a double feature of them both tonight.
