Today's Horror Cycle

///////////

Figures that, after an entire day of excessive boredom, twenty minutes before I leave work (gonna see Slither tonight, yahoo!) I find a really great article to read.

I haven't even finished it yet, but here's a link: Christopher Kelly talking about the disconnect between the way adults are negatively reviewing the current spate of excessively gory horror films (think Saw, Hostel, Hills Have Eyes, so on) and the way teenagers (and, uh, twenty-somethings like myself, Chris!) are lapping it up.

I'll finish it later and maybe, if the mood still exists by then, talk it up on Monday - so far (about halfway through) it's good stuff; someone placing the current splatter-slate of films in context.
