I don't get why our Senators bend over for Cheney any more. Like with this wire-tapping BS - Cheney gets on the case and suddenly every Senator that'd been rightfully causing a stir about it shuts their face and lets the Administration get whatever they want.
This man's approval ratings are at Nixonian levels and have been for years. So, he walks in a room and why don't they just laugh his ass out? What does he have on them? Does he threaten their puppies?
Maybe, behind closed doors, he snacks on toddlers in front of them all. That's the only thing I can possibly understand keeping people so fucking weak in the face of such a useless piece of shit.
Of course, the senators of which I speak, or the majority of them, are just as crooked as he is, so I shouldn't expect much Jimmy Stewart like responsibility when I speak of our blessed leaders.
