Brokeback Mountain's domestic gross stands at, as of yesterday, 76.4 million bucks. It was #8 yesterday, having remained in the top ten all week after making room for new releases on the weekend, where it typically moves down a few notches.
That said, the film has been playing 4 times as long as anything else in the top ten, and in half as many theaters. So... the film is fucking rocking it.
It's the highest grossing of the Best Pic nominees, and has been for weeks now. It's at around 130 million bucks internationally. Box Office Mojo says BBM has had "The Most Impressive Box Office Performance" of the year.
And that's called Kickin' Yer Ass.
