So BBM was #4 over the weekend, #3 on Monday, and #2 yesterday. It's such a flop! All those naysayers are right - who'd want to go and see two men... (GASP!) ... kissing!!! EEW!!!
Anyway, the film did better over the weekend than I said in my post Monday - it'd already passed the $60 million mark by then. It's making around 600K per day. It's per-theater average stays pretty much constant from day to day, while the other films see a steep drop off once the weekend is over (while #1 film When A Stranger Calls was beating BBM's per-screen over the weekend and even Monday, BBM is trouncing it come Tuesday)
In other words, the film is doing fantasically.
I've fallen woefully behind in my film-going this past month with all the packing and unpacking duties, but I do plan on seeing BBM probably once more before the Oscars. Shamefully, I must admit it won't be this weekend since Final Destination 3 trumps all other concerns.
