So I'm leaving the office in aboout 2 hours to meet up with my cousin who'll be driving us upstate for my great-grandmother's funeral. There are good things about this trip - I'll be seeing my cousins from Virginia whom I never get to see and adore - and bad things - well, it's a funeral, for one, and for another, I'M MISSING THE SUFJAN CONCERT. Sigh. The boyfriend's going to go without me... bastard.
In other news, Brokeback Mountain is a bonafide blockbuster in London (where they aren't a bunch of sissified "ooh, I'm scared of the homos" types). It opened at #1 with what translates into about half a million dollars. Yes, their idea of a blockbuster is different than ours. But still, awesome.
We're still unsure if the actual funeral's going to be on Sunday or Monday, so I might not be back to the office until Wednesday (need a day for driving back). If I get a chance, I'll blog from home; otherwise, everybody have a good weekend. Go see Brokeback!
