So I've prattled on about the original J-Horror version, Kairo, a couple of times in here, and now the trailer for the Wes Craven remake, Pulse, starring everybody's favorite teen-sleuth Kristen Bell, is online.
Only watch it if you want to see half the film, cuz this bitch seems to be giving a lot away.
But it looks terrific, and I'm now really looking forward to it - as I've said before, I have some problems with the original, mostly story-related, and from this trailer it looks like they've kept the sort of style visually which is the original film's strongest point.
I only hope they don't edit it into some sort of over-edited psuedo-teen-slasher thing, which it really shouldn't be, and keep the same sort of slow burn feeling of dread that the original had. Then, if they translate the story into making some sort of sense, it could be incredible.
Don't let me down, Wes! Red Eye was awesome, stay in that vein!
