Can y'all believe it's only a week until Turkey Day? Mmmm, I loves me some birds-flesh. Smothered in gravy and mashed potatoes... good times.
The boyfriend, being the expert cook he is, will be feeding about twelve people, myself included, as has been the case for the past few years. Going home for Thanksgiving was always a bit of a disappointment - there's really not any concentrated family-get-together with my family, so I didn't really get to see anyone anyways, making the trip not worth it, especially when I'll be heading up there in just a month for Our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ's birthday.
