Be Still My Heart

Soooooo...............

Hi there! There's supposedly some sort of "rule" that you shouldn't go on and on about things until they actually happen because you may jinx it, or something. But if I hold in my excitement right now I'll be bleeding out of the eyeballs before dinner.

A friend of mine is taking me to a press screening of Brokeback Mountain tomorrow night!

I know. I know!

Now's the point when the frozen block of airplane sewage lands on my head. Or a stray missile flies through my office window. Or, like that chick on L.A. Law, I step into an empty elevator shaft and plummet eight floors and my intestines pop like a jack-in-the-box.

Right? Or will I actually survive the next 24 hours? Will the gods be so kind???

I've been on slow burn for months waiting for December 9th. My system was dealing. But now, suddenly it's presented much sooner... and the very marrow of my bones aches.

Yes, I am being dramatic. You don't exactly read anything I post expecting decorum, or at least I'd certainly hope not. I've had to have proven my completely deranged faculties by now.

Especially where Jake Gyllenhaal is concerned.

I imagine, in the next day, I might post about this subject again. Just a slight premonition. So stay tuned! And Thursday, expect my review! If I can peel myself off the floor.
