According to Wonkette, Lake George is now what the people in NOLA are calling the flooded city.
I'm still reeling from all the information, and devouring every last bit I can find. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of people are standing around that dome starving and dehydrating to death and no one is helping them. They are being left to save themselves or die, and if they try to get food or medical supplies they are called "looters" and the President says we have "zero tolerance" for that. And then there are Senators telling the poor people they screwed themselves because they weren't rich enough to get out of the city.
I can't fathom any of this.
