Sorry I've been somewhat of a ghost this week. I blasted out another story in three days, though! I am proud of myself, I don't care what you say.
Plans for the weekend, you ask? Well, let's see.
Tonight I'll be seeing A History Of Violence. What, you think I'd put off a new Cronenberg film? The reviews on this one have got me amped.

Tomorrow or Sunday, unsure when yet, I'll be seeing North By Northwest on "the big screen," which has me psyched. The only other Hitch film I've seen in the theater was the restored version of Vertigo, which was spectacular. Local theater's been playing all the Hitch/Grant collaborations for the past week, but I haven't gotten to see any others - I'm particularily miserable about having missed Notorious, it's my fave of the Hitch/Grant films, and what I consider to be the most romantic film ever made (though in recent years both Punch-Drunk Love and Eternal Sunshine have come very close). I'm strangely not a gigantic fan of NbNW - I admire it a lot, but I've never really loved it.
I also have another Cronenberg film via NetFlix, the Stephen King adaptation The Dead Zone, to watch. A shame I haven't seen it yet, truly.
Going to try and rest some, too, since last weekend my mother robbed me of my health like a leech and I've been sporting bags under my eyes ever since. Thanks, Ma!
Have a good one, my peeps! Grandpa says be happy:
