Regarding Katrina

This is an important side to the disaster we're probably not going to be hearing much of since, you know, implicates the President in kinda screwing over Louisana residents and, that darned "Liberal media"... that NEVER REPORTS ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

Basically, what the link is saying is that, because of money funnelled into the Iraq quagmire, Louisiana was not prepared for this hurricane, that the infrastructure hadn't been able to shore itself up for the past couple of years, and this disaster is much, much worse because of it.

So, once again, we have a nice little link to the way this President has failed this country in the worst way imaginable. It seems every day I think, "No, he can't possibly turn out to be MORE of a failure? More ridiculous, more incompetent? He can't sink any lower!" and then, expectation-hurdler he is, Dubya leap-frogs right over and declares himself the King of Evil Morons once again.

He's the kid at the birthday party who spent half an hour blindfolded pinning the tail on his sister in the corner and giggling, and then punched his mom in the elbow.
