I swiped this image from this article by Jim Emerson over at Roger Ebert's website. That is a lovely fucking picture. Is it weird that it reminds me of The Wizard of Oz? I half expect the Wicked Witch of the West to be standing on the roof of that house in the background.
The article's worth skimming, he brings up some interesting, if disjointed, points. His stuff about Darwinism and "Intelligent Design" is a different angle than I'd seen the film attacked from as of yet.
