Harry Potter Has Murdered Me

Oh my god I am so tired I am going to die. I was up until 3am this morning reading that blasted Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I read almost 400 pages, with about 250 left to go. I want to crawl under my desk, roll into a very tight ball, and sleep for several more hours, or maybe days, immediately. I am beginning to hallucinate my telephone is a pillow.

K, so the book is great so far. I'm in no state to review or speak of what I've read so far. I'm in no state to even be typing. My fingers ache, like everything. I am sooo tired. I am dying.

I'm nervous. I know, as anyone who's read anything lately, that someone in the book is going to croak. I've been adamant about avoiding anywhere on the "world wide web" where the secret might be spilled, so I don't know who. I have several people in mind whom I think it could be. When I was showering this morning several scenarios ran through my head. I think I dreamt about Harry P and friends all night long. I am sick in the head.

Also, it's incredibly hot outdoors. It didn't help, this morning, stumbling to the subway through a haze of boiling heat. The sidewalks mocked me with their fumes. The glass storefronts scorned me. I am on fire. I am ablaze. I am dying... have I mentioned I am dying?

PS - I'm totally creeped out by Harry, Hermione and Ron being... sexually aware. Ewww! I can only imagine what the kids (think of the CHILDREN!!!) are thinking. I gasped when the word "slut" was used in the book. JK! You purveyor o' pornography! I can already hear the alarm bells in the Focus on the Family (speaking of sluts) headquarters.
