Birthday Pangs

OOF.

That's the sound of me shelling out for two tickets to see Kathleen Turner tear the house down on Broadway in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? for the boyfriend's birthday in a couple weeks.

I mean, it's for me too, and I'm dying to see the show, and I got an offer for discounted tickets and it looks like the seats I got are killer, but... still. Man, Broadway is expensive.

But the boyfriend's worth it. He's really been wanting to see it too. It closes at the start of September, so our chance was limited... sigh. It hurts, though. That tiny little thread connecting my soul and my wallet is strained to the max today.
