Sigh. Is today over yet?

Today is gonna be a really long day. I might post a lot. Consider yourself warned. I have seven more hours of sitting at this desk staring at this computer screen, and I have nothing to do but sit and think about the fact that in a little over 24 hours I'll be gone from this sweltering cesspool, poof, and standing on tropical sands. And yes, you should also realize that the warning I'll be posting a lot today also means, more specifically, I'll be posting a lot about anticipating my trip, and it will be extremely tedious, I have no doubt. I apologize. I don't got a lot rattling around my noggin right now but that.

I still have to pack. I know. After the movie last night the boyfriend and I grabbed a couple beers and I stumbled home and was drunk and tired and passed immediately out. Sue me!

Luckily I've been told to pack only carry on. We have to race from the airport to catch the ferry out to Vieques from San Juan, and won't have time to wait for luggage. That'll make it easy to pack. A couple pairs of shorts and some flip flops ought to do it! Whee!

I've been considering making a pact with the boyfriend that as long as he agrees not to assault me with it after the trip I will promise to eat whatever is put in front of me on the trip. He and I are always having issues as regards to food, because I am highly picky (i.e. rice makes me violent), but since we'll be staying with vegans I have a feeling there'll be enough difficulty working out the eating configurations without me being difficult. I can deal. My only reservation is he will use this as an excuse for when we return, trying to manipulate me by bringing it up. In which case I'll have to immediately saw off his genitals with a rusty blade. I'd say that's fair.
