will keep me from it! I just keep whispering Spielberg, Spielberg to myself and it makes the visions of big-toothed madmen go away. The reviews are mostly positive, though I've tried my best not to read too many, I want to have enough surprise left.
I did read Ebert's review (he always warns if he's going to give something big away) and found myself irritated that he didn't like the film, as if it were a slight against me. I have a very personal, very one-sided relationship with Roger Ebert that no one ever understands. Sometimes he betrays me, but most of the time it's a spectacular lovefest. He is my first memory of seeing someone express their love for film, his lil' verbal battles with Gene Siskel were a huge part of my childhood - the first job I remember ever wanting to have was as a film reviewer. God what a geek I was.
Anyhoo, I'm going right after work to see Tom + Dakota - wife #4? Tokota?
