... if you liked Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi bender Arrival this past weekend - and why wouldn't you? Here's my review of the very fine film - then you should go back and watch or re-watch his 2012 film Enemy starring Jake Gyllenhaal, which was my favorite movie of its year. And which, bonus, actually has a lot of very strange overlap with Arrival, ones which really struck me yet I forgot to mention in my review. There's one shot involving a big beastie confined to a small space that's actually a direct steal! Anyway the blu-ray of Enemy is super duper cheap on Amazon today, under ten bucks, so now's the time. Get in before the Blade Runner 2 rush!
