I was going to say that this seemed to be hitting VOD really fast for a movie that was a hit so recently but then I saw the movie comes out on DVD proper next week. I guess they want to insert themselves back into the awards conversation? It has been a whole two months since the movie came out. Here's my old review. I still think Jake's performance is overly tic-filled, but I've been thinking I want to watch it again. Really I just wish Jake's other collaboration with director Denis Villeneuve, the bizarre doppleganger thriller called Enemy, would come out - I want to see that something kah-razy.

I really liked Prisoners (and Jake in it) but I thought Enemy was so much better. And Jake is so good in it. It is so cliched for films dealing with duality but he actually seems two different people.
