Fassy's Sweaty City of Shame

Missed this yesterday as I went poof for the afternoon, but via Collider here's the teaser poster for Shame, the second collaboration between director Steve McQueen and actor Michael Fassbender.

Is it weird that I find that sweaty pressed palm and bowed head hot? There's something sexual about it, right? Or is it just the fact that it's Fassy poisoning my p.o.v. again? It also calls to mind Leo and Kate bumping uglies in the car in Titanic.

Eww that. Anyway they've got a wee bit of a synopsis at Collider as well, and it makes it sound even more sound promising (aka it straight up implies sexytimes + Fassy):

"Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. After his wayward younger sister moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control.

From director Steve McQueen (Hunger), Shame is a compelling and timely examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us."

This isn't much different from what we'd heard about this movie back at the start of September when the news showed up that they'll be filming this, much to my excitement, here in NYC in January. Fassy sighting ho!

So first comes Hunger, then Shame... what's next? I'm hoping for Cramps, personally.

wow, that synopsis made the film seem like a light comedy of sorts, but then I watch the poster and can't relate the two of them
