Australia's brought us all sorts of wonderful things over the years - pirates, beer, beefcake, wrestling with crocodiles... um, beer - but never anything so personally fulfilling to me personally (personally!) as me finally, after all these years, owning a copy of Paperhouse on DVD. (for something about my Paperhouse obsession, see here)
Since I never knew when they'd release the film stateside, I turned to EBay, that rascally good-luck charm of the disillusioned, and sure enough some kind-hearted bloke/Sheila was selling a copy, and it arrived today and I'm giddy just holding it in my hands.
So thank you, Australia! Right here is where the bloody hell I am, filled with Aussie-love. I just might go touch some LAAAAVAH WEEEETH A STEEEK (personal in-joke, sorry) in thanks.

But according to it's IMDb page, the movie is British!
But, go Australia anyway. We rock!
(lol, 'where the bloody hell are you' is funny, non?)
Yeah, it's a British movie, but for some reason it was easier to get a copy from y'all than from there. Just one of the reasons YOU ROCK.
