Great Moments In Movie Shelves #102

Instead of going out to the theater to see Scarlett Johansson wear a fleshy bodysuit this weekend I sat on my sofa and watched the original 1995 version of Ghost in the Shell, which I thought I had seen but now, having actually seen it, I was wrong about that. 

I actually wish I had seen it in 1995 though, when its ideas would have still been interesting, because watching it this weekend I found it kind of stultifying and inert, save some scattered gorgeous imagery. (Wow those exploding heads.)

That said I did enjoy this scene from very very late in the movie (basically the end) where we see big gruff Batou's "safe house" and it's a ridiculously lavish cliff-side bunker filled with books. 

He does have good taste! 
I mean check out that scoop neck...
