... you can learn from:
The Driver's Seat (1974)
Lise: If you think you're going to have sexwith me, you're very much mistaken.Bill: But I haven't had my daily orgasm. It's an essential part of the diet; an orgasm a day.If you miss a day, you have to have twothe next day and that gives me indigestion.Lise: I have no time for sex. I mean it.Sex is of no use to me, I assure you.Bill: But orgasms are yang!
The legend known as Liz would've turned 94 today.
Anybody seen this? I did last year and it's incredible.
In that weirdo over-the-top way of all her 70s movies.

In the Andy Warhol Diaries Andy gives a great and funny account of the making of this movie (he had a bit part) and working both on and off set with a VERY demanding Liz Taylor.
I adore her no matter what she's in and because of that I can usually hang in there with even her worst films but though I did make it to the end of this disaster I think it is the worst thing (I can't bring myself to call it a film) she was ever involved with.
I was in the mood to luxuriate in the soapy goodness of The V.I.P.S to celebrate her day but couldn't find it anywhere and ended up watching her fun turn as the petulant Amy in MGM's 1949 version of "Little Women".
Have you read the book? It's terrific - and as unsettling as the movie. That dress is pretty much an exact description of the one in the book's opening chapter - Muriel Spark's description of her behavior and the baffled but trying-to-be-polite store employees is priceless.
