There are two very important movies out this weekend - there is Darren Aronofsky's Mother! (which I'm going to the premiere of tonight - click here if you missed the insane story of how that came about) and there is Mike White's new movie called Brad's Status, which I did not like the trailer for if I'm honest, but it's Mike White so I'm just assuming they cut a bad trailer because Mike White's a genius, full stop. And then there is American Assassin, which stars Dylan O'Brien...
... throttling something underwater, apparently. I don't know, that's from a behind the scenes video Dylan himself shared on Instagram, as are these pictures. I don't have a whole lot of interest in seeing AA, but I will give it this - it does have Dylan doing half-naked pull-ups in front of bookshelves, as we saw in the trailer. Them ain't small pahtaters.
False advertising! Or something....
ReplyDeleteI went to the link, expecting to find Dylan O'Brien "doing half-naked pull-ups," and what did I see? Dylan O'Brien, showing about as much skin as Mother Theresa on a chilly day, doing fully-dressed pull-ups.
Not a single half-naked pull-up in sight. You've led me on, MNPP, only to let me down.

LOL that's so funny - my mind had totally turned them into shirtless pull-ups! I didn't actually go back and watch the trailer but I totally remembered, I saw it with my brain, him being shirtless. THE BRAIN WANTS WHAT IT WANTS. Sorry about that, Bill. Just close your eyes and PRETEND, it makes the days easier ;)
