I'm old enough to remember there being an internet rumor like twenty years ago that Jake Gyllenhaal and Henry Cavill were boyfriends for a minute -- that said I'm also old enough to have forgotten any and all context for said rumor. But I definitely remember thinking, "Oh my god that's hot" and at least that much has stuck with me all these decades. Anyway I hadn't thought of that rumor in ages, not until the two were cast opposite one another in Guy Ritchie's new movie called In the Grey, and there they are -- the theoretical exes -- in all their glory. Also...
... leave it to Ritchie to introduce their characters in the just-dropped trailer as prison bunkmates. Any dirty fantasies I'm having about the casting in one of his movies, Guy's gonna get there first. Anyway in general I've never been a Ritchie fan but since I loved his Netflix series The Gentlemen and I liked his last two movies The Covenant (which starred Jake) and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (with Henry) well enough, we're on good terms right now. Better than usual. Add on a cast that also includes Rosamund Pike (!!!) and I definitely have higher expectations than I ought to for this. We'll see.
In the Grey is out on May 15th. And in summation,
here is a gif of Henry Cavill sitting in tight pants:

I used to work with someone who told me her male friend had slept with Cavill back in the day, so I wouldn’t discard it.
ReplyDeletestop say bullshit without evedence. your friend has fantasies!!!
Deletegoogle "Corey Spears Henry Cavill" then head over to to the Images. Should put this to rest. Also fyi; there was an internet scrub of Cavill in the year leading up to the release of Man of Steel by WB.
ReplyDeleteyou just have fun. when you have gay friends doesn't mean that sleep with them!!!
DeleteUgh. Why does Jake always star in movies that do not interest me at all? After Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain, etc., I always looked forward to seeing him. But he just chooses the most boring, alpha-male, beige projects possible.
