There isn't really a Miyazaki movie I DON'T like, but... well, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are near-perfect, Totoro and Ponyo are just about the cutest movies of all time, and Castle in the Sky is extremely imaginative and underrated. I wish I'd seen it years ago instead of last summer.
I can't believe I had no idea his b-day was today! He's amazing. Mononoke, Spirited Away and Howl are definitely my three favorites.

ReplyDeleteAnd incidentally, "HAMU!" Oh my god Ponyo is SO adorable! "Ponyo loves Sasuke!" It makes my heart melt.
