We've seen so many exceptional talents, from Paul Schrader to Darren Aronofsky to Steven Soderbergh (ugh), expose their shittiness to embrace A.I. slop -- so when I first saw the words "Herzog" and "A.I." in the same title I winced for a moment, expecting horror.
