If someone is twirling around in a field of wheat or standing behind the window shades, it's a Malick movie. (And I like Malick, but still ...)
Malick, not so much. The Tree of Life was painful. Even typing the name of that self-important gobbledygook film is painful. I’m ready for straight men to step aside and let audiences see new fresh voices flourish.
