I did a "Five Frames From ?" post for the 2004 version of Alfie starring Jude Law just recently and that reminded me that I have never seen this movie somehow? That seems a little bit on the nuts side given how favorable I am towards the Jude. That said...
... well I have nothing more to add, since I still have not watched the film. But I saw these gifs going around the Tumblr sites and thought it'd be nice to post them, and here we are. Have you seen Alfie? Should I bother? Now that I have seen these gifs, I mean. Is there more worth my precious, precious time? It is on Amazon so it'd be easy enough, at least.
They were literally giving the DVD away on the streets of London because it's so bad. If you're going to see Alfie, see the original with Michael Caine. It's a lovely, heartfelt film and the acting is terrific.
