It was a very boring movie and they promoted the gay thing in the trailer but it was only a drunk moment. Too bad we had so little nudity from Patrick Wilson. Evening it was called (I had to google it) It wasn't really that bad but nothing like what I expected...
I saw that back when it was in theatres. It was a nice, cute scene but don't expect much from it. I can't say what happens after that without ruining the movie. I would say that Evening is a little like The Hours. It goes from modern day to the 50's and Meryl Streep's daughter plays her character back in the 50's. Does that make sense?
I really liked "Evening". Hugh was so amazing in it. Easily, the best thing about it. That being said, the movie overall was pretty great. Depressing as hell but still a solid drama. I had forgotten how incredible of an actress Claire Danes is too. The scene where she yells at Hugh is so powerful. Yeah, I definitely cried during that movie.

ReplyDeleteHugh Dancy was absolutely heartbreaking. Won Best Actor for me, personally, that year.
