--- Good Head - Recognize the dude to the left there? No, you don't? Good then, because you'd be psychotic if you did, that's a big fake head he's wearing, duh. Under the big fake head however is Michael Fassbender! That's the first picture from Frank, that rock star movie he's making. If you click over you can see the rest of the picture which also shows his co-stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Domhnall Gleeson.

--- LL Confidential - I only got one page into this article about Paul Schrader and the making of his porn-chic Lindsay Lohan movie The Canyons before noticing the article is elevn pages long and I'll have to read it later but so far so good, I definitely wanna read this later.

--- Best Race - The big deal today is obviously the Oscar nominations - my non-prediction predictions were five for five! Go me! Ahem. I could point you in a million directions to see what's up but I'm sure you already know, so just go read what Nat's saying at TFE and what Joe said at FIlm.com and be done with it.

--- No Robo - I'm happy that Steven Spielberg's not making Robopocalypse any time soon because man that book stunk it up, but I'm sad he's not making it because the script was from Drew Goddard and I love Drew Goddard! Torn, I was. But it's tipped towards happy because I really don't foresee how they were gonna get Chris Hemsworth naked in it and that's what most counts.

--- Outer Limits - Speaking of Steven Spielberg not making things, Chris Nolan just picked up one of his cast-off's - Nolan will be making Interstellar next, which Spielberg was gonna make for a brief moment. It's about time travel and alternate dimensions and all that sciffy. Since I've decided I don't like Nolan any more after the junky duo of Inception and TDKR we'll see how this goes.

--- Cop Beat - Meanwhile Nicolas Winding Refn has dropped out of directing the big-screen version of The Equalizer with Denzel Washington. Maybe he's just not ready to let go of Ryan Gosling just yet? Can't say I blame him.

--- Thee Dee Dino - Apparently the 3D re-release of Jurassic Park is going to play on IMAX screens as well. There is no way I am missing this, as logn as its the real IMAX (here in NYC the only real IMAX screen is at Lincoln Center) and not that bullshit they've been trying to pass off as IMAX elsewhere.
