Eddie's usually a little too pretty for me to get worked up about (unless he's making out with Hugh Dancy of course, in which case all bets are off - Hugh can make anything work me up), but I did think that director Simon Curtis shot him the best I've ever seen him shot in My Week With Marilyn. I think age might be helping him in this respect. That said, other than looking very fine in his period clothes he didn't make for that compelling of a lead in the film (here's my review, where I didn't even get around to mentioning him). One step forward, two steps back, Eddie.
