ETA Here are five more frames from the movie to maybe help y'all since it's stumped so far... I will add that this is a film that I have mentioned by name here at MNPP within the recent past... .
And not The Little Mermaid, Maleah... I assume you're speaking of a version other than the Disney film since this these frames are obviously not animated, but I've never seen any other versions of the story so you totally threw me for a loop for a sec. ;-)
That house made me think of Manhunter, but then I realised I was thinking of Red Dragon. but other than that I dunno, tbh i don't even know why I'm writing this......
I want to say The Deep End, but haven't you used that before?
