I love this series, and it made me realize I've never asked you this question: How did you develop your love of the horror genre? Was it a particular film, or a natural progression of personality or something else?
I've loved horror for as far back as I can remember. I was a morbid kid. The earliest books I remember loving was that series on the Universal Monsters (here's some info on the series).
Hmmm...I don't believe I've ever seen those books. I might have to check a few out, if it's still possible.
Isn't it fun growing up a touch morbid and macabre? I think it really refines a good sense of humor and allows one to tackle a lot of taboos otherwise left alone.
