A friend of the boyfriend's taught me in an empty handball court in our neighborhood. Only took me about 15 minutes to be riding upright without her guiding the bike from behind. Yay me! I still need more practise; getting started moving takes me several starts-and-stops, but if I do say so myself, and I do, I think I'm awesome.
I am terrible with balance on bikes so I haven't ridden one in, like, 9 years. I don't know how to drive either. I think I have a hatred of wheels or something.
