The whole Pedro thing seems really weird to me, I watch a lot of hype for him on social media, but outside of the internet noise my friends and coworkers just can't stand him, even the Latino ones. After watching Past Lives, I feel sorry for Celine's current husband. The casting of this film is so weak and mediocre that I wouldn't be surprised if it gets thirteen Academy Award nominations.
