Glad to see Far from the Madding Crowd in your runner-ups. It's one of those films that takes a couple of views to fully appreciate, the first time I watched it didn't grab me but with each successive view I liked it more and more until now it may be my favorite of the year. Alan Bates & Julie Christie....swoon!

My top five:
Far from the Madding Crowd
Barefoot in the Park
Two for the Road
Point Blank
Wait Until Dark

Five runner-ups
Bonnie & Clyde
Thoroughly Modern Millie
Belle du Jour
The Honey Pot
The Graduate

I know that hoot fest Valley of the Dolls came out in '67 but that's more of a trash wallow than a favorite.joel65913https://www.blogger.com/profile/14526657073681774683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13372093.post-53942983550743921772016-08-09T14:06:42.355-04:002016-08-09T14:06:42.355-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Josito Montezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08766914851447103309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13372093.post-79355515977174317682016-08-09T14:06:10.493-04:002016-08-09T14:06:10.493-04:00Great year, so difficult to choose only five. But since it was only released in France that year and didn't make it to the US until 1973, I'll just have to remind myself of that when I do my list for 1973 and cheat it in there.
