Michelle Yeoh was fantastic in Crazy Rich Asians, which is a highly entertaining movie by any measure (and all the more delightful because it did not include standard Hollywood Jennifer Lawrence-style vanilla). Yeoh's performance is particularly great because it avoids portraying the mother as a stereotypical dragon lady. She could have gone for parody or caricature but gave us something more nuanced and interesting. And damn, on top of that, she's beautiful at any age.Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934743030117184023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13372093.post-54661735099007941352018-09-10T19:56:32.010-04:002018-09-10T19:56:32.010-04:00C'mon, you are reaching! No one can convince me that Crazy Rich Asians is even a good movie . . . Jeez, next you'll want that fanboy pablum, Black Panther, to be nominated for Best Picture!MTMSLGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04811504966444347698noreply@blogger.com
